Here’s our second shield. I wanted it to have a Russian look, so we put a Cyrillic “D” in the middle of it; to represent the family name. This one was more difficult. We made a scale model first from white poster board. The metal work on the corners is mostly to cover a few bad corner joints; but like anything else, is a chance to show more skills to the children. All the supplies for this project are scraps from other projects, or salvaged goods.
